Hi, team,

My customer has two questions when evaluating EVM with GUI may need your help.

1. GUI can recognize MATRIX only when chip is set in polling mode, ,but cannot recognize MATRIX in Continuous mode.

Does MATRIX only support polling mode?

2. When configuring MATRIX, we can only config IN10~IN15 interrupt of Rise/Fall/Both edge, but cannot detect IN10~IN4, is it the normal situation?

    The TIC12400-Q1 device can only recognize MATRIX when chip is in polling mode.


     

    When configuring MATRIX, we can only config IN10~IN15 interrupt of Rise/Fall/Both edge, but cannot detect IN10~IN4, is it the normal situation?


    Depending on the matrix size (4x4,5 x5 , 6x6) you can only IN10~IN15 interrupt of Rise/Fall/Both edge.   You will not be able to have detection on the lower number channels IN4-IN9.  The IN4-IN9 inputs will have the current sink enabled and then the wetting current will be sourced from the IN10-IN15.  Since the IN4-IN9 current sink is enabled it doesn't make sense to detect that node because it will always be low voltage no matter what the switch state is.
