TUSB4020BI: GANGED/SMBA2/HS_UP pin

Hi Team,

The datasheet shows GANGED/SMBA2/HS_UP pin sets the value of the SMBus slave address bit 2 when SMBus mode is enabled.

So, I believe "SMBus slave address bits 2 and 3 are always 1 for the TUSB4020BI." is typo and "SMBus slave address bits 3 are always 1 for the TUSB4020BI." is correct.
Is my understanding correct?

Hi,

Correct, this is a typo and should state "SMBus slave address bits 3 are always 1 for the TUSB4020BI." Please see section 8.5.3 SMBus Slave Operation to see that SMBus slave address bit 3 (Z) is read write access and is always in read mode for TUSB4020BI.
