TUSB321: Battery Charger IC with TUSB321 in UFP Mode

TUSB321: May TUSB321 can support active cable?

Hi Sir 

My customer product is touch pen(UFP only, there doesn't need process data).

Currently find touch pen can't get power with active cable(E-Mark).(Passtive cable touch pen can sink power)

May we know if we can fixed that to add TUSB321?

    Hi,

    TUSB321 can be used to power the Emarker in the active cable with Vconn and allow the source to read the emarker. Could you describe your application and what is the current solution you are using with passive cables?

    THe application is touch pen, request is 5V/200mA.

    If there have costive suggestion solution?

    And may we know what different between TUSB321 and TUSB321AI?

    Hi,

    TUSB321AI has a updated internal state machine, please try to use this version. This device is UFP, correct? Please follow Figure 3. DFP Mode Schematic in the TUSB321AI datasheet with the exception of the PORT pin tied to ground for UFP mode.
