Dear team,

My customer will do the EMC test next week, and they use DP83TC811S-Q1 in their project. They want to know how to test the function of the PHY during EMC test?

    Hi Sherry,

    This will depend on the capability of their ECU and if they are following TC8.

    Please have them review TC8 in OPEN Alliance. 

    Generally you will want to monitor link and scrambler status using register 0x133.

    They can also monitor the MSE value of the ADC by reading the SNR register 0x197.

    You will also want to be transmitting and receiving data over the link to monitor for any frame errors.
