DP83825I: DP83825I WoL feature questions

Part Number: DP83825I

Dear TI Team,

We have confirmed that the DP83825I supports the WoL function.

DP83825I I want to know if it can handle the WoL function by itself.

And  Is interrupt output possible when inputting WoL?

The current in the data sheet is not displayed.

What is the current consumption when supporting WOL?

Thanks.

  • Hi Chun,

I unfortunately do not understand your question in regards to handling WoL function by itself.

The DP83825I, when enabled for WoL, will monitor for qualifying packets. You will need to program the PHY with the MAC address so that the PHY knows when to wake the processor up through an interrupt.

Current consumption data will be provided once the device is fully released.

We plan to release the device fully in August of this year.
