DS30BA101: Input range for the device DS30BA101

Hi Team,

I want to use DS30BA101 in my application, my doubt is with respect to input voltage range the device can accept. 

In the datasheet it is mentioned that −0.3V to VCC+0.3V and in the table "DC Electrical Characteristics" under "Input Voltage Swing"(VID) it is mentioned as 100 to 2200 mVP−P.

So what is the exact input voltage that the device can handle?

    Hi Siddu,

    -0.3V to VCC+0.3V is the absolute maximum. Continuous operation at this level is not guaranteed. On the other hand, VID is the allowable input voltage swing based on checking different data pattern. Therefor, please follow VID of 100 to 2200mVpp requirement.
