DP83TC811R-Q1: Converter 100BASE-TX to 100BASE-T1 with DP83TC811R-Q1

Part Number: DP83TC811R-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DP83TC811

Hi Team,

My customer want to do a Ethernet converter board that:

1. RJ45 input & RJ45 output

2. Converter a 100BASE-TX(industrial Ethernet) to be 100BASE-T1 (Auto Ethernet).

Current proposal/structure is like below, may I know is it OK of solution below? and whether we have similar ref design?

Thanks & BRs,

Cheney

  • Hi,

We have DP83TC811 EVM which usage DP83822 with DP83TC811 for media convertor function.

You can look at using DP83825 as well. You have to use DP83825 and DP83TC811 in RMII Slave Mode with 50 MHz clock from external clock source.

    Regards,
