Hi,

We use DS90UR905Q-Q1 in our board. I have a connection problem about it.

Our processor CV22 video output is 16 bits,DS90UB905 is 24 bits. How do I use it?

May I use it like this? Pull down the low 8 bits of DS90UR905 and then connect the remaining 16 bit to processor CV22?

hi Casey,

OK. Another question, if I use the high bits of DS90UR905Q-Q1, how about the process of low bits. For example:

B[7:3], G[7:2] and R[7:3] are used to connect with CV22 VD0_OUT_[0:15], how to process B [2:0], G [1:0] and R[2:0], pull down to GND?

Hello Kun,

This is ok. The 905 does not care which data bits are used. It will just pack the data and your processor needs to know how to unpack it on the other side based on which bits you used.
