Multiple LIN collection

Dear all:

I have a requirement for multiple LIN collection, about 50.I see that the LIN maximum on TI's official website is no. 4.Is there any way to collect multiple LIN signals and communicate with MCU by I2C?

I want to use as few LIN devices as possible. Can I add a multiplexer switch in front of LIN devices to realize it?Is there any recommended plan

  • Timsen,

Where are you seeing the LIN maximum of 4? In LIN clusters, there is one master for 16 slaves. This limit is set by the official LIN specification.

Are you needing to collect 50 different LIN bus signals? Is there any way you can provide a block diagram? I'm having a little trouble understanding your application.

    Regards,
