TUSB320: Changing mode configuration(DFP/UFP/DRP) during power-on & cable connected

Part Number: TUSB320

Hi team

Are there anyways to change the mode configuration during power-on & Type-C cable connected?

I am wondering the mode configuration can be changed dynamically. e.g. changing voltage state of PORT-pin.

The TUSB320 device can be configured as a downstream facing port (DFP), upstream facing port (UFP), or dualrole port (DRP) using the tri-level PORT pin. The PORT pin should be pulled high to VDD using a pullup resistance, low to GND or left as floated on the PCB to achieve the desired mode. The TUSB320 device samples the PORT pin after reset and maintains the desired mode until the TUSB320 device is reset again.

But why not leave TUSB320 configured as DRP and let it switching between UFP and DFP?

    Thanks
