Hi team,

We want to simulate to check the signal quality, but 953-954 has only IBIS model, not AEQ etc.

I understand that the only method of signal conditioning is the 954 equalizer, is this correct?

If yes, could you tell me the configuration of the signal conditionin block like as the steps of FFE or DFE?

Or do you have an AEQ simulation model?

We do not want to understand the circuit, but just want to simulate, so it is best to have a simulation model for us.

    Hi Yoshida,

    Yes, we just provide the IBIS model for ub953/954, and only de-ser UB954 has EQ. Unfortunately, we have no UB954's AEQ simulation model.

    For UB954's internal AEQ, it has no FFE/DFE, the EQ is one linear equalizer. in our application, you can see the EQ status (gain) to adaptively match different calbe length. also the transmission channel is required in our paired ser and deser, pls refer to this design.
