Active USB2.0 cable of upto 10 meters

the description data in the product selection window shows 4m cable length support ( 4m cable length means pre channel, not post channel). post channel mainly depends on DC output, it can not drive more than 2m cable.

Hi Brian, 

Can you please guide me about the best suitable architecture/part to be used for making the cost effective active usb cable of about 10 meter length for mass production. Please guide.

current devices can not support 10m USB2 cable, but we are going to release TUSB216 soon which can support upto 10m.

Its really nice to hear that TI will be releasing TUSB216 which can support 10m post channel cable length, however it will be great if you can let me know a tentative date by which it is expected for the TI to release the TUSB216 IC, so that i can update the same to my client as well. 
I was looking on the internet for the similar active USB2.0 cable and i found that there are lots of cable which has used two redrivers at the interval of 5 meter each in order to provide the 10meter post channel cable length, let me know if you think that its possible for me to adapt the similar method to achieve the 10 meter cable support by having two redrivers at the interval of 5meter each using the TUSB213 or TUSB215.

Also for TUSB216, it may help for fuction with 10m, but may still not good enough to passing eye diagram

Hi Brian, 

What do you exactly meant by saying USB Hub inside the cable? What is the difference between the USB hub and USB redriver. I hope in order for me to extend the USB 2.0 cable i will need USB redriver instead of the USB hub correct?
