DP83848C: What does it means when ping: "Cannot access target host"

Hi team,

My customer is using our DP83848. The CPU on target board is i.MAX6, no any software loaded yet. When they test Ethernet hardware by connecting target board with PC and ping target board on PC it response with "Cannot access target host", while it also response "sent data packets = 4, received data packets =4, lost = 0%." Can anyone tell me what this information means? Does it means there is any issue with PHY or MAC?

Hi John,

What you're seeing is beyond the PHY layer. It doesn't look like there is any issue with the PHY as it can receive and send data correctly.
