DS90UB954-Q1: Error detection at EMC test

Part Number: DS90UB954-Q1

Hi team,

We plan to conduct an EMC test.

MIPI CSI-2 input and output has been turned off to verify the path between Ser and Des.

At this time, we intend to confirm errors with the parity error of FC and the CRC of BC, but are these error confirmations effective without CSI-2 input?

Is FPD encoding error also effective?

Please let us know what parameters we should check.

Best regards,

Tomoaki Yoshida

  • Hello Tomoaki,

Usually we use the lock pin status for EMC testing to determine if there are FPD errors and this does not depend on CSI-2 input/output. If they would like, they can also use BIST mode to check for all bit errors in forward and back channels during the test.

    Best Regards,

    Casey
