Hi Team,

I have a question about DP83849I absolute maximum ratings.

Datasheet mentions Vcc/Vin/Vout abso max voltage range and there are 6 types of the functionality of the I/O cells for each pin.

Type: I, O, I/O, OD, PU PD, S

Vcc abso max voltage range should be for "power supply pins" but how about Vin/Vout? what types can be applied for Vin/Vout abso max voltage range?

Is it ok to see all types of abso max voltage range is -0.5V to Vcc+0.5V?

    Hi Kai,

    As this device has single 3.3V supply, all pins (except supply pins) should have Absolute Maximum Voltage range of -0.5V to Vcc+0.5V

    Please also beware of note (1) as shown below:

    (1) Stresses beyond those listed under Absolute Maximum Ratings may cause permanent damage to the device. These are stress ratings only, which do not imply functional operation of the device at these or any other conditions beyond those indicated under Recommended Operating Conditions. Exposure to absolute-maximum-rated conditions for extended periods may affect device reliability.
