TUSB321: Cable detect logic for UFP/DRP

Hi Team,

Can you please confirm the logic below for cable detection during UFP and DRP states. On the DRP, should the customer AND or OR the ID pin?

UFP = Out 1 NAND Out 2

DRP = (Out 1 NAND Out 2) OR NOT(ID)

what you try to do? there are three current modes, but you only can get two logic states.

Hi Brian,

My customer is trying to detect that a cable is present during UFP and DRP modes. My understanding is that those are the pins that they need to check for cable detection.

The cable detection is handled by the CC1 and CC2 pins.
