Hello Professional,
I have question for DS90UB935-Q1.
Can we use this device's CSI port for GPIO input?
If it cannot use for GPIO, Can we use GPIO port as like as remote slave I2C?
Thank you and best regards,
Kazuki Kuramochi

Hello Kazuki,
You can not use the CSI-2 port for GPIO data. It needs to be MIPI CSI-2 compliant input data. I'm not sure what your question about I2C is. The 935 can talk to remote slaves via I2C using the I2C pins on the device, not the GPIO.

Hello Casey,
Sorry for my late reply and make confusion.
I understood about CSI-2 port must follow CSI-2 format and cannot use for the other signal.
As for GPIO, Are both side GPIO ports only controlled by I2C?
My customer's expected behavior of GPIO port is which automatically propagate the transition of GPIO port status. However I think we must need to use I2C for changing status of GPIO port as far as my understanding for datasheet. So I confirmed about whether CSI port has possibility of using for GPIO data at first.

I'm sorry Kazuki,
I still don't understand your question. Can you please read through section 7.3.6 of the datasheet for 935 GPIO support and let me know if this clarifies the situation?
Best Regards,
Casey
Hello Kazuki,
Was the information clear? Is your problem resolved?
Thanks,
Casey
