TPS25740: Qualcomm PM660 (UFP) compatibility test is not as expected

Hi team,

Customers are using TPS25740 as DFP to connect Qualcomm PM660 PD platform.

But the result of TI TPS25740 (DFP) + Qualcomm PM660 (UFP) compatibility test is not as expected.

The Vbus(5V) is turned on/off after connection.

Could you help us to check this issue?

Here are the waveforms, TI PD always reset on dead battery mode. (ch1: CC, ch2: VBUS)

Do you have a PD analyzer to capture the PD communication between the two devices during the failure?

Hello Anne,

Are you asking for when the TPS25740 is in a dead battery condition? If so that could be the problem. The TPS2570 is intended for dedicated charger applications so it would never be in a dead battery scenario so that could be a reason for the collapse on VBUS
