Hi team,

My customer wants to use this device as below, both upstream and downstream connect to USB2.0. Could our device work? How to deal with USB_SSTXP_UP and USB_SSTXM_UP and SS pin? Would be helpful if any schematic design documents can be shared here. Thanks.

If you only need USB2.0 functionality, why not use the TUSB4041I, http://www.ti.com/product/TUSB4041I?

Thank you for your response. I know that 4041 can work. But my question is that 8041 can support this function or not. And how we use this device to realize such function. Thanks.

USB2 and USB3 are two separate functions, so for TUSB8041, the USB2 behaviors the same as a USB2.0 hub. Please refer to section 9.2.1.1 for how to implement the hub.
