Hello,

Could you please let me know if TPS65983B has built-in Over Voltage Protection and Over Current Protection on VBUS power rail.

While I have checked in the datasheet, it has just mentioned, I could not find out how OV_VBUS works when it detects Over Voltage, and the how to set Over Current, how it works.

    Hi,

    The TPS65983B is specifically designed to support Intel TBT reference designs. It is not possible to deviate from the reference either in firmware or layout.

    For customized layout or firmware settings, I suggest looking at other members of the TPS659xx family. There is an application note that describes these features on TPS65988.
