Is it possible to get USB certification for USB logo with default VID and PID in TUSB8041?

Hi Oba,

The default VID/PID can be used with the TUSB8041, but please be aware that the TUSB8041 does not have all the latest USB 3.2 specification updates required to obtain a USB logo. The TUSB8042A is compatible with the TUSB8041 and has these updates. You can find a transition guide here:

I think TUSB8041 support only USB3.0. Can't the user also get USB logo for UBS3.0 from now?

Hi Oba,

The USB-IF only performs testing to the latest version of the specification (USB 3.2 Gen 1 for TUSB80xx), they do not do legacy testing for USB 3.0 or USB 3.1.
