Hello Support team,

I have some questions for TPS65987D BC1.2 support.

* Advertisement means for sink current from charger, Detection means for source current to device, is my understanding correct?

*TPS65987D support automatic DCP mode selection advertisement. Customer would like to use short mode only and would not like to use 2.7V and 1.2V mode. Can TPS65987D support such a usage? If yes, how to set?

    Hello Koji,

    It's the other way around. When the TPS65987D is set up for advertisement, it will advertise those specific charging schemes to whatever portable device is connected, and then source current to the connected device. For detection, it will try to detect what type of charger it is connected to, and then sink current from that charger.

    For only advertising DCP, click BC1.2 DCP advertisement within the configuration tool register 0x29
