One of our upcoming applications requires us to have an optical connection to a very small, low-power camera system (1080p, 30fps).
We are looking at using a CSI-2 camera and at first glance the DS90UB953 and 954 look ideal (plus providing us with I2C for sensor control).
The FPD-Link is a half-duplex differential pair and as far as I can tell does not expose the direction line so I can not easily use a line driver to change it to RX/TX.
Can anyone recommend a way for me to convert FPD-Link III onto a full-duplex system (differential or single-ended is fine)?
Many thanks,
Colin
Hello Colin,
FPD Link is already a full duplex protocol. I would recommend taking a look at the videos in our FPD Link Learning Center here for more information: https://training.ti.com/fpd-link-learning-center
