DS90UB953-Q1: Fpd-link serial signal data

TI employees, can I use DS90UB953 for the serializer and DS90UB940 for the deserializer.

It's the serializer and the serializer using different types, one camera, one display, can you successfully connect，does the format of fpd-link serial data support this.

Hello,

These are not compatible. However, you can use the 953 with the 954 or the 960. All of them have CSI interface at the output.

Does the CSI input serializer have to be connected with the CSI output disconnector? In this case, can't 933 be paired with 953

Hello,

The 933 is compatible with the 954 and with the 960.

FYI, we have two families of devices, IVI and ADAS family. IVI devices are not compatible with ADAS devices.

All devices in IVI family are compatible to each other.

All devices in ADAS family are compatible to each other.

IVI Family: 92x, 94x devices

ADAS Family: 91x, 93x, 95x, 96x devices.
