Hi,
my customer wants to use this part but is asking for DP compliance data from our side?
They are seeing some issues and want to compare it.
Thank you, kind regards,
Marion

Attached is the DP142 DP compliance report. But the DP compliance is system dependent, what issues are they seeing?

Hi David,
thank you that is perfect and exactly what the customer expected!
Where is the retimer sitting? is this the EVM compliance data? How long was the used cable?
Thank you for your help, if there are more questions I will come back.
Kind regards, Marion

DP142 is a linear re-driver, not a re-timer, so there is only equalizer to be tuned.
The data was collected on the DP142 using a standard DP cable.
Thanks
David
Hej David,
thanks for your support! Please help me understand the following points:
Is cable length not important?
Can you describe the test setup a little more?
Just for my understanding:
Are these the compliance measurements of the EVM or from what setup? As you said, the measurements are dependent on the system, I wonder what system we measured on.
Thank you, kind regards,
