TLK1101E: Confirmation of internal pull-up/pull-down resistors

Part Number: TLK1101E

Hello,

Can you please help confirm if the pins LOS, DIS, and I2C pins have internal/external pull-up?

We do see that there is information in the datasheet, but for I2C, there are inconsistencies between pages 3 and 7. Please see screenshots below:

Page 7:

Please also advise if you found other pins with corrections. Thanks a lot :)

  • Hi,

Here is a recommendation for the pins in question.

LOS: open drain output;  Requires an external pull-up to VCC (Typically 10K)

DIS: LVCMOS input; Internal resistor pull-down.  This pin can be left alone which allows the internal pulldown to keep the TLK1101E operating normally.  If it is desired to control the TLK1101E (Enable and Disable) then an external LVCMOS signal is recommended to drive this pin.

SDA and SCL:  Bi-Directional Open Drain IO;  These pin require an external pull-up resistor to VCC for proper I2C functionality.  If these pins are unused the internal 100K pull-up is enough to maintain a stable voltage on the inputs.

    Regards,

    Lee
