Hi Team,

My customer is having the same problem with the following issue.

He downloaded the latest version of FlashBurner Utility (Version 2.10.0.0) from the following page.

He tried three note PCs that are different model that are all Windows7 64 bit, however two PCs showed as the following and he couldn't program the device. (On the other hand, another one PC is no problem to program the device.)

Do you know why 2/3 of PCs are failed and 1/3 isn't failed although these PCs are all Windows7 64 bit PCs?

He tried to do "5.1 Re-Installing Flash Burner Driver Instance Manually" in page 30 of user's guide with 2/3 PCs, however it shows "driver can't be found".

Is there workaround for the issue?

Hi,

Please create a copy or confirm that the difxapi.dll driver is located at this file path C:\Windows\System32.

My customer tried to do above however the situation didn't change at all.

Hi,

Not as of yet I have not been able to find any issue in source code or find root cause as of yet. This may be an issue on the Windows? but it is hard for me to confirm here as I do not see the driver install issue. You could try to replace the difxapi.dll file in C:\Windows\System32 with driver installed where the TUSB9261 flashburner was installed (same file name). Example installation path C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments Inc\TUSB926x_Burner.

Unfortunately, my customer tried to replace as you refered however the situation is the same..

Hi,

Sorry for the long delay. I have been searching for the root cause of the issue. Can you check if wdfcoinstaller01009.dll is located in C:\Windows\System32 and wdfapldr.sys is located in C:\Windows\System32\drivers?

Hi,

Some additional information. It appears that your instance on the flash-burner is using the wrong file path when trying to call Driver_Inst (located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments Inc\TUSB926x_Burner). You could try running this application separately with admin privileges and see if there is some error message in the console that will appear on your screen.

Hi Malik-san,

My customer doesn't have resolved the issue however he found a brand new note PC without the problem.
He doesn't know what is the difference between PCs but I heard it is okay to close this issue.
