PCA9515A: Do we order PCA9515ADRGR sample?

    Hey Yuki-san,

    It doesn't look like we sell the PCA9515A on our online store. Is there any reason why the customer wants this device? The A version of this device has a clock stretching errata, PCA9515B is the recommended device over the A version.

    May I ask what the customer's system requirements are? (Max clock speed? Vcc ranges? Any special requirements?) I prefer the TCA9517 over the PCA9515 devices. It uses newer process technology, has a voltage level translation feature, has only 1 side with a static voltage offset compared the 9515 with both sides <-- this can cause design challenges for our customers, and likely will come at a more cost competitive rate.

    We promoted TCA9517 and customer want to do replacement from PCA9515A.

    But customer has concern about supply side.

    Could you tell me that  BU team have plan  NRND or EOL in regard to TCA9517?

    Hey Yuki,

    In terms of the TCA9517. We don't have any plans to NRND/EOL the device. We have seen this device perform well and I don't foresee this device being EOL/NRND in the near term.
