SN65LVDS93B: LVDS 28bit serializer vs OnSemi

Hi All,

for video doorbell application I need a 28-bit LVDS serializer, for an outdoor application (-40 ... + 85 ° C) - external post of the video doorbell.

The uP TI AM3354 comes with a 24bit TTL video signal, but the TFT 8 "that we have to drive has an LVDS interface, so I need a serializer.
Currently the reference pn is that of the ON-Semiconductor FIN3385MTDX.

Is SN65LVDS93B the correct p/n to porpose? Or do you have a better proposal? Target price is 1.7$ @1kpcs/yr

Hi Antonio,

If what you're looking for is the TTL (input) and LVDS (output) with max pclk of 85 MHz, then I think the SN65LVDS93B is fine. The TI part has a lower cycle to cycle output clock jitter and has a lower power mode if you're worried about power consumption. The FIN3385 doesn't state anything about a low power mode, only stating "low power consumption"
