Input rise time of DS100BR1111

We have questions about DS100BR1111.

We want to know input rise time of DS100BR1111.

Our customer condition : 

Rise time that IC receives is 2nS.

Please tell us the range of rise time in the lowest frequency.

Does this IC have the limit about rise time?

Does this IC allow 2nS?

    Hi Takahiro,

    The DS100BR111 is designed to operate at datarates much higher than one with a 2ns rise time.  A 2ns reise time suggests a datarate much less than 1 Gbps.

    While this may still work, there may be a more optimal device available for your application (DS25BR110 is one recommendation).  The equalization function on the DS100BR111 will not provide much gain at this low data rate.
