PWM to analog 0-10V output

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ISO7740, ISO7710, ISO7720

hi,

for a new uWiFi wireless 0-10V controller for industrial lighting apps, we are looking for a low-cost, isolated PWM input / 0-100% duty to  0-10v analog output converter. Space is also a constrain.

I saw solutions using an opto, RC/LP filter and opamp to do the job.

any other advice?

thanks a lot in advance

KR

Vincenzo

  • Hi Vincenzo,

We may need more information about what kind of signal you need at the output in order to make a good recommendation for you.

For the isolated PWM signal, as long as the signaling is inside the max signaling rate of the device, you should be able to take advantage of our latest digital isolators (100Mbps). I believe our best option would be something from the ISO77xx family, such as the ISO7710 (1 channel) or ISO7720 (2 channel) or ISO7740 (4 channel).

    Best regards,

    Dan

  • Hi Vincenzo,

I haven't heard from you in a few days so I'm going to assume that you were able to find the answer you needed. If that's not the case, feel free to either respond on this thread or open a new thread.

    Best regards,
