I have taken the FPGA IP for deserializer and found it is 20-bit data interface where data from IC is 10-bit. I'm using it for SMPTE-259M-C, i.e.., SD SDI standard capture. Again is there any way to use it for 10-bit and also how to modify the descrambler for 10-bit instead 20-bit or can I use it as it is?

Hi Rajesh,

You can use it as is. We actually used this IP for SMPTE-259 where 10-bits are used. Using this IP, we generated color bar or pathological for 3G and lower rates such SD or SMPTE-259M.
