DP83848K: Use STM32F107+DP83848 but the network is unreachable

Hi Team,

Customer uses the STM32F107+DP83848 network. He is experiencing below issue and needs your help.

1. The computer can ping the IP of STM32 normally when it is powered on. After changing the IP and restarting the software by software, it cannot be pinged and the IP cannot be saved.
2. Normally ping after power-on, then use the tweezers to pull the reset pin low. At this time, it is also impossible to ping the IP of STM32. The customer must power off and restart the network to be normal.

Customer would like to know how to reslove this issue.

Hi Annie,

1. The IP is protocol beyond the PHY layer. If DP83848 can link up and perform ping properly, the PHY has no issue.

2. If the reset pin is pulled low, the PHY does not have link as it is in reset state.
