XIO2001: BIOS not load

Hello!!

When I plug in a PC, the BIOS doesn’t start it is rebooting all the time.

I think the BIOS knows the board is plugged (with the present pins) but the XIO doesn’t start.

Do you know if we have to load some configuration previously?

We are using the same configuration than the Evaluation Board without the EEPROM. But the Eval works fine!

An EEPROM should not be needed.

Is your own board identical with the eval board, or did you make any changes?
Does it work without any PCI device present?

Hello Clemens,

thank you for your help.

My desing is identical with the eval board, removing the pci connector and integrating a pci board.

The desing of the PCI board is an older working desing.

If I desold the PCI chip, the XIO2001 works fine.

Dear all,

Thank you so much!

I have found the problem. It was the power for the pullup.

The chip that we use for the PCI has some strange things with the power for the IO and we put it on 5V and it have to be 3.3V regardless of VIO

If we put the pull-up for the PRST\ pin, the BIOS does not load
