it can drive 3m cable and 5 tiers.

what's the mean of 5 tiers? How many the insertion loss @2.5GHz can it support?

mean 5 hubs in series. device itself don't have insertion loss, it's kind of retimer

customer wants to know how long PCB trace(loss) it can support for 2.5G signal.
