SN65HVD233: Is 65HVD233 a drop in for the 65HVD230

Hi,

I have a customer using the SN65HVD230 and they would like to replace it with the SN65HVDV233.

They are not using the Vref functionality in the SN65HVD230 nor the LBK function in the SN65HVD233.

So in this case the SN65HVD233 is a drop in replacement for the SN65HVD230. Am I missing anything?

    Joe,

    You are correct, that will work for the customer to drop the part in. All the pins are the same except for pin 5, and since that pin isn't being used, then this will work.
