Hi team,

Can you answer the following questions of DS90UB947-Q1 and DS90UB948-Q1?

Case1:  1920 x 720, 95MHz

 : Single Open-LDI (D0,1,2,3,CLK) -> DS90UB947-Q1 -> Signle FPD-LINK III -> DS90UB948-Q1 -> Dual Open-LDI output (47.5MHz per output)

   -. Is the configuration available?

   -. For unused pins (D4,5,6,7) of DS90UB947-Q1, should it be left as floating, or not?

   -. For unused pins (RIN1) of DS90UB948-Q1, how should it handle?

Case2: 1920 x 720, 100MHz

 : Single Open-LDI (D0,1,2,3,CLK) -> DS90UB947-Q1 -> Dual FPD-LINK III -> DS90UB948-Q1 -> Dual Open-LDI output (50MHz per output)

   -. If LCD requires 50MHz, does above configuration have to be used?

    Hello Sam,

    Both case 1 and case 2 are correct - all of your comments are right. For unused OLDI pins, either leaving them floating or terminating them with 100 ohms differentially are acceptable, but terminating each pair with 100 ohms is preferred since it will improve radiated noise performance. For unused FPD Link pins you should leave them unconnected as they will be disabled in single link mode.
