DS90CF386: Questions about Chip Application

Hi,

    I have some question on chip application:

  I need a chip for LVDS to RGB. I see the IC recommended on E2E.
  Do you have any IC suggestions on auto application ?

 1. In addition to RGB, there are four LVCMOS signals: EN, HSYNC, VSYNC and GP.
If there is no field synchronization and line synchronization signal in my screen, can I not connect it?

2.What is GP used for?

3.In the specification, MAP corresponds to RGB signal, which has MSB and LSB connection.
Both MSB and LSB have low R0 and high R7.
Why are there two ways of doing the same?
