  • HI Jason,

I understand you are looking for certain compliance test results.

We complete PD Silicon related compliance testing on development boards and do not perform product based testing. Many of these tests are product specific and other results will not apply. This means I cannot perform compliance pretest.

    Regards,
    Scott

  • Scott,

I think there is a disconnect between the customer and their board test house for compliance.  I was curious if there was a place to learn more details about the tests outlined above because I think what the test house is after is if the customer is going to use those features but it is hard to understand as the test house knows the compliance tests and the customer knows the use case.  Does that make sense?

  • Hi Jason,

I agree something does not completely follow.

The tests are defined in the USB IF document library at usb.org. These particular tests are part of the USB Power Delivery v 2 test document "PD Communications Engine USB PD Compliance MOI".

These tests are implemented by the different USB Compliance test solutions.

    Regards,
    Scott
