Hi team,

Hi Frank,
Yes, the device is fine to mix PCIe and SATA. The RXDET configuration should follow PCIe requiements.

Lee
Hi Frank,
Set RXDET to the default level (Float). If programming the device using SMBus or EEPROM it is possible to set each channel individually, but not required for SAS/SATA as it will work with RXDET = F.

Lee
Hi Lee,
Could you please share the configuration with using the one channel PCIE, one channel SATA as a example? Thanks.
Hi Frank,
PWDN = 0
RXDET = Float
RESEVERED1 = Float
RESERVED2 = 0
RESERVED3 = 0
SD_TH = Float
VDD_SEL = 0 for 3.3V VIN operation
VDD_SEL = Float for 2.5V external regulator operation
Set EQ and VOD as needed for optimal signaling, Typically:
EQA = EQB = Float or 1
VODA1/VODB1 = 0
VODA0/VODB0 = 1
