SN65DP159: Hot-TDR (Sink side)

Hello,

I would like to ask a question for SN65DP159.

I am currently using SN65DP159 on HDMI input port.

The schematic is similar to the DP159RSBEVM.

- TMDS Termination resistances are located near HDMI CN. (50ohm pull-up on each TMDS line)

- AC Caps are used between HDMI CN and SN65DP159.

In this case, we checked the Hot-TDR but the average value were approximately 50 ohm.(Failed)

Then, I took off the AC caps as a experiment.

It means that TMDS lines are not connected from HDMI CN to SN65DP159.

But the Hot-TDR value were improved to approximately 100ohm.

Here is my question.

To compliant with Hot-TDR requirement for HDMI2.0 sink by using SN65DP159,

what should we improve for it? Do you have any idea?

Or, should we change the SN65DP159 to TMDS181?

I would appreciate it if you could give me some suggestion.
