Hi,

My customer run the contact discharge test. But he found the device get damage at -6kV. (There is no issue at +6kV)

Below is detail explanation for the test. could you please give your advice?

Hello,

If you look at the app note for IEC61000-4-x Tests you can see the way that TI runs the ESD test.

Are you sure that the TVS3300 shorted or is it just the NPN. Is there anything else connected to OUT in the Trial circuit? What voltage is OUT at when the test is applied?

Thank you for your advice. I update the schematic. Could you please check it and give me advice how to solve customer problem?

The OUT pin is the 0V output (Turn PNP off) during ESD test.
