Hi ,

Using this transceiver for the media conversion.

ATSAMD10C14A as the MCU

Here am unable to get response from the device for 400khz clock .

can you suggest the clock frequency and also how to adjust it ,as i was trying to give internal 8MHz clock but only receiving 2MHz output.

and also suggest for communication establishing.

Hi,

DP83869HM supports MDC Clock frequency upto 24 MHz.

I suggest start with USB-MDIO tool provided by TI and later you can move to your own implementation.

You can use below tool with seperate MSP430F5529 LaunchPad or you can purchase DP83869HM, it comes with onboard MSP430 to program MDC/MDIO.

Hi Geet,

we checked using Launchpad but unable to get the PHY- Id of the device and it is showing device is not getting connected in USB-MDIO tool .

Any other solution or way to create communication using MDIO and MDC .

Hi Kaavya,

- Do you see two MSP ports on your PC ?

- You are using Application Ports to conenct USB-MDIO ?

- If you press read, can you check MDC clock and MDIO data lines togggling on scope ?

Still am facing that same issue unable .

not getting any output ,i tried with both application port and interface port .

please suggest me any other solution for this .
