Hi,

I would like to suggest BQ24392 + MSP430 + BQ25601 to my customers for small applications of USB battery charging(BC1.2).

Sorry, I'm not familiar with charging IC and USB charging,

If they use USB only for charging, I think MSP430 don't need USB functionality.
(It can be controlled by I2C and GPIO)

Is this correct?

    Hi Rei,

    What are they looking to charge, a battery?  Will there be any USB data traffic between the application and a USB host?  What is the MSP430 used for, to control the BQ25601?
