DS280BR820: SAS4 Application Support

May I know if this part could support SAS4 24Gbps application?

Or do we have any roadmap in the future to support SAS4?

    Hi Jim,

    I expect the DS280BR820 and DS280MB810 can support SAS3/4 operation.  It will require some SMBus programming to ensure we correctly handle OOB signaling, but I do not see a problem working this out.

    The DS160PR410 is another option. It can work up to 25Gbps.

    These devices are the only devices which could support SAS4 linear equalization at this time.
