TIC12400-Q1: Min. VS at ADC mode?

Part Number: TIC12400-Q1

Hi team,

Can you answer the following question of TIC12400-Q1?

To use the THRES_COM=4V in comparator mode, the VS requires at least min. 6.5V.

BW, in case of using ADC mode,

-. What is the minimum VS requirement which ADC can work?

-. What is the minimum VS requirement to get the ADC value of 4V?

Thanks,

Sam Lee

  • Hi Sam,

The ADC will operate as specified across the voltage range in the recommended operating table, from 4.5 V to 35 V.

For the reference voltage, Internally we will generate our own stable reference that is independent of the supply voltage across the recommended supply range, including down to 4.5 V.  To be able to measure the input voltage from 0 V to 6 V we additionally scale down the input voltage so ensure that even at low supply we will not have headroom issues sampling the voltage.

Take a look at the VS measurement at different current settings in the Electrical Characteristics table:

    Thanks

  • Hi Saminah,

    Thank you for your answer.
