Hello Sir,

Per THVD1429 D/S page one show ESD / EFT / Surge protection capability .

Does it mean IC still working normally during these testing ?

Or it just mean IC will not damage only.

Terry,

During ESD and Surge tests, the device cannot function. The IC can only protect itself from being damaged. For EFT test, THVD1429 passes criterion A 4kV, which means the IC continues working. You can find more detail about each standard in this application.
