DS90UB953-Q1: The DS90ub953 to DS90ub960 Signal transmission time problem

Part Number: DS90UB953-Q1

Hi TI team,

The waveforms of the input end of the 935 MIPI signal and the output end of the 960 MIPI signal are as follows :(it takes about 2 seconds to encode and decode from 953 to 960), is it reasonable?

Channel 4 is the DATA signal waveform of 953 MIPI input port;

Channel 1 is the DATA waveform of the output of 960 MIPI;

Is this time a normal phenomenon?If there is any problem, which part should be set?

  • Jimmy,

    the latency of 2s is NOT correct, this would make trouble in the automotive system. For UB953/960 link the latency is about dozens of us level.

    in your test, you just measure the first CSI2 output of UB960, this could be stopped by your on-board UB960 design, such as reset/PDB latency etc.

    best regards,

    Steven
