Part Number: TUSB8044A

Hi Team,

Customer is using TUSB8044A.

Customer ran WHQL and found the fail as below link’s attachment.

Would you please recommend the proper solution for this?

  • Hello SHH,

This test passed during our WHQL test.

Was a device added downstream to keep the hub out of suspend during this test?

Did the customer set the customstrings bit in the I2C or SMBUS register?

    Regards,

    JMNN

  • Hi JMMN,

confirmed the test, customer did not attached any device on the downstream port.

would you please provide your comment on the customer's fail?

Here is the captured from online. is this the same fail or not?

    SHH

  • Yes, the customer should try installing a downstream device to keep the hub out of suspend during the test.  The binary file showed that the default serial strings were enabled, so the hub should pass this test if it is awake.

    JMMN
