SN65HVD1050: SN65HVD1050DR can replace TJA1049T?

Dear,

our client use TJA1049T, and we find SN65HVD1050 maybe can replace, but  we saw the SN65HVD1050 cannot support standby mode and  data rates up 1M.

have other suggestion, Please advise me.

    Hi Lawrence,

    You are correct that SN65HVD1050 implements a low-power "silent" mode rather than a standby mode.  For a pin-to-pin equivalent transceiver supporting standby mode instead, please see TCAN1042V-Q1.  This device supports the same functionality as TJA1049 but allows for a wider VCC range (10% tolerance instead of 5%).
